   11. What should my blood sugar level be?
The levels may be different for each person and can change throughout the day. Your health provider will tell you what range is best for you.
If your blood sugar is less than 4 mmol/l or above 10 mmol please call your health provider.

Common symptoms of low sugar include:
  • Weakness
  • Dizziness
  • Excessive hunger
  • Feeling shaky
  • Sweating
  • Pounding heart
  • Feeling anxious
Late symptoms of low sugar:
  • Confusion
  • Headache
  • Poor coordination
  • Bad dreams or nightmares
  • Numbness in the mouth and tongue
  • You may pass out!
