Teachers Training
Teachers play a key role in supporting children with diabetes, as students spend much of their day in school. Training teachers on diabetes equips them with the knowledge and confidence to recognize signs of low or high blood sugar, respond appropriately in emergencies, and support daily management such as meal times, insulin use, or safe participation in physical activity. It also helps reduce stigma and promotes an inclusive learning environment. Through proper training, teachers become partners in diabetes care, ensuring safety, better academic performance, and improved overall well-being for students living with the condition.
